Two weeks ago Irene Lucas joined the No-IP family as the newest member of the Support Team. She comes to us with a computer science background and a love of technology.
“Since I was a kid I have had a fascination with technology, though I was forbidden to pull things apart and break them and have continuously grown up learning all the new stuff,” Lucas said.
Lucas in no stranger to the support field, having worked in call center and as VOIP telecommunications support. She said she is excited to work for No-IP because she loves technology.
“I love isolating issues, and problem solving. No-IP will help me reach my goals in the technology world with the vast experience I will gain from working here,” she said.
Outside of work, Lucas enjoys gaming, watching movies and taking care of her “zoo”, which consists of a bunny, dog and four fish. She also enjoys working on her home network when she gets time.
When asked who would win in a fight, a bear with titanium claws or a shark with a laser beam attached to its head, her answer was thoughtful.
“Depends (on) what kind of environment (they are in), would it be the bears natural habitat or the sharks? Or is it a genetically modified shark that can fly and live out out water?,” she said.” There are too may variables to determine the outcome on mere speculation, but if I had to choose I would choose the bear because he is fuzzy. I love all animals so I wouldn’t want them to fight in the first place.”
