Spread the Joy, Donate a Toy – No-IP’s Holiday Toy Drive Results

Contributing to the Children’s Cabinet Toy Drive

It’s not the holidays without giving back to the community! For 2024, the No-IP team decided on contributing to a toy drive for The Children’s Cabinet. We have donated to their holiday toy drive in the past and have had great results. The team is made up of local and remote employees so ordering toys from their Amazon wishlist was a great way for everyone to participate.

The team at the Children’s Cabinet was happy to share that they had a record year with the toy drive – They were able to reach out to 606 families and give presents to around 2,500 youth. Those are amazing numbers!

Jason Puccinelli, our VP of Operations, interim Co-President, and who delivered the presents to the Children’s Cabinet, had this to share:

“I’m proud of our team for coming together to fill a truckload of toys for local families. Giving back to the community we call home is part of who we are, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to bring joy to families in the Northern Nevada area.”

A History of Making a Difference

No-IP has had a long-standing tradition of community involvement. The past 10 years, No-IP has done a food drive with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. In 2023, our goal was $10,000, and we were able to exceed it by $100. Contributing to the community not only great for team work, but it always boosts company morale. It’s always fun to see how a combined effort can create such big impact.

More Than Just a Holiday Toy Drive

The Cabinet serves more than 15,000 Nevada families each year from locations throughout the state in Reno, Carson City, Las Vegas, and Elko. They also partner with private sector and public organizations that aim to keep children and families together by providing services and resources that address unmet needs at no charge. Since 1985, The Cabinet has provided a number of programs, one being Safe Place, a service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for youth experiencing violence, abuse, exploitation, or a dangerous situation. Other programs include runaway and homeless youth services and support services for former foster care youth.

Activating Core Values

Our annual donation drives are a great way of enforcing No-IP’s core values, such as collaborating and getting sh*t done. It is also a wonderful way to stay grounded, humble, and practice generosity. We hope this inspires our users to also think about ways of giving back, no matter how big or small the gesture.
