The website redesign was a months long project that also included moving the legacy system to the Laravel PHP Framework.

“We decided to move to Laravel after sponsoring the Laracon Conference last fall. We had been evaluating it for a while, but after seeing what the framework can really do, we decided it was time for a change,” said David Jonas, director of architecture, No-IP. “The framework is really intuitive and powerful. We are excited about it.”

Simplified navigation, more organized content and an all around better user learning experience in general will help guide visitors through the website.

“Dynamic and Managed DNS aren’t the easiest things in the world to explain. We have a lot of users that visit our website that know that they need our services, but aren’t quite sure why, or how it even works. I am hoping that the new site design and copy will tell the users the story of DNS to better help them understand,” stated Natalie Goguen, marketing manager, No-IP.
