TL;DR: No-IP held a live webinar on September 16, 2026 to demo the MSP Multi-Tenant Platform, a single dashboard that lets managed service providers (MSPs) manage every client’s domain, DNS, Dynamic DNS (DDNS), and remote access from one login. You showed up, and that told us something
We opened with a true story: It was Deven’s birthday, and his phone rang at 6 a.m. Client outages, everywhere, no email alert, no warning. He only found out because someone else noticed first and called him, then spent the rest of his birthday firefighting instead of celebrating it. None of it should have been a surprise.
More people registered for this session than we planned for, and the live attendance was solid. Those numbers matter as they confirm the fragmentation problem we spent months building this platform to solve, and prove it’s as common as our own support queue suggested. The demo ran on the real dashboard, not mockups. Here are some of the things we presented:
- Linked Accounts, where a technician impersonates a client account with one click instead of juggling separate logins and waiting on someone else’s two-factor code.
- A Zones dashboard showing every managed client zone, query activity, and record history in one view.
- Domain registration and subscriptions, including renewal dates and auto-renew status, tracked per client.
- Dynamic DNS & Remote Access, including hostname management and, for clients behind CGNAT, Public Tunnels.
The MSP Multi-Tenant Platform: The Rundown
MSPs are accountable for client uptime, email delivery, remote access, and DNS stability, but the infrastructure sits scattered across registrars a client picked years ago, a different DNS console per account, and third-party developers who touch records without telling anyone.

The Security Angle
Domains, DNS records, and certificates are a client’s external identity, and drift there isn’t a hygiene problem, but an attack surface. Four examples we walked through live:
- The registrar account. CISA issued an emergency directive over DNS record tampering; its first actions were to audit every record and enforce MFA on every account that can change one.
- The record nobody owns. Over a million domains a day sit open to takeover through stale delegation, and more than 30,000 have already been taken.
- The domain that lapsed. Researchers bought 40 expired domains for about $800 and inherited more than 4,000 live backdoors on production hosts.
- DMARC parked at p=none. CIS Safeguard 9.5 names DMARC directly, and over half of mid-market domains with a record still publish no enforcement policy.
The platform’s response is structural: linked accounts remove shared credentials, MFA is required on the account, and change logs record who touched what and when. Our own framing for it: you’re not selling DNS filtering, you’re selling the layer underneath it, the posture the rest of the security stack assumes is already correct.
