No-IP Donates 600 Pounds of Food to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada

We just wrapped up our 3rd Annual Giving Thanks Drive. The food drive benefitted the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, an organization that helps feed more than 95,000 people within the local community. In one short week, the No-IP team was able to fill over 3 barrels with non-perishable food items.

“I am so proud of everyone at No-IP for helping us reach our goal of filling 3 barrels of food! We are so thankful to be able to host events like this that help give back to the local community. It’s my favorite time of the year,” said Marketing Manager, Natalie Goguen.

This isn’t the first food drive that No-IP has hosted though, each year since 2013, the team has come together for their Giving Thanks Drive to help gather food items.

“This year we were able to donate nearly 600 pounds of food! It was more than I could have ever dreamed of and I am so proud of the No-IP team for going above and beyond our goal!” Stated Goguen. “The holidays are about giving, and we are so thankful to be able to give back.”

The Food Bank of Northern Nevada provides emergency food services to families through a network of more than 140 partner agencies in a 90,000 square mile service area throughout northern Nevada and the eastern slope of the sierra in California. We serve more than 95,000 people each month, half of whom are children and seniors. Last fiscal year, we provided more than 13.3 million meals to neighbors who were hungry. The Food Bank also plays a leading role in collaborating with other committed northern Nevada community members and organizations to address the root causes of hunger.
