No-IP’s 11th Annual Virtual Food Drive

For the 11th year in a row, No-IP is organizing a food drive for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping feed more than 160,000 neighbors in the community, half of whom are children and seniors. Unfortunately, one in every nine children in Nevada faces food insecurity.

In the United States, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits have been reinstated, but new restrictions may still cause millions of Americans to lose access to support. The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is already feeling the effects of this additional strain on the community and finds itself working harder to try and support those in need, accordingly. The organization collects and distributes donated and purchased food to food pantries, shelters, senior centers, school programs, and other vital community hubs.

In 2023, No-IP employees and users raised $10,100 for the Food Bank. This year, our goal is $12,500. The food bank can make six meals out of every $1 this year. That means 75,000 meals to help feed the community!

Please take a look at our Food Drive and donate whatever you can to help support the Northern Nevada community make it through this difficult and tumultuous time. We appreciate any donation and support!
